European solidarity with Spanish dogs

A total of 33 dogs from Scooby in Medina del Campo have been transported last friday to different European countries, after being adopted by different families. Galgos, Podencos, mixes and setter will have a new chance in countries like Belgium, Holland and Germany.
Once again our European neighbours have shown their love of animals and their commitment to our shelter. In the next days about twenty of our animals will travel to Italy on another trip to meet their future families.
Nowadays Scooby is taking care of about  260 dogs in the shelter, that is being maintained thanks to all the partners and adopters of animals, right now there is not any public aid or grant, hard to understand when you realize that the work of this organization is virtually becoming a public service.
But Scooby continues to expand its services, thanks to the work of all those involved with the shelter in one way or another, and yes, most of them are from abroad.
At Scooby you can find cats, donkeys, goats, raccoons, sheep, horses and other animals and that makes Scooby one of the largest animal rescue organizations in Spain.
