Donation of antibiotics

With the onset of low temperatures, the first cases needing treatment with antibiotics arrive at our hospital.
As of now until the end of winter, our vets will continously have to attend dozens of patients every day.
The hospital will be saturated, the quarantine ward will be saturated, and eventually it will be necessary to medicate the dogs in the yards where they are living, due to space limitations.
The antibiotics will disappear at the same rate as they come in, and often they will be used up even before we get the chance to treat the animals.
We need antibiotics, a lot of antibiotics.
They are very inexpensive, easy to obtain (you can get them in every pharmacy), and we can also administer those which are meant for human use.
Each pill costs only a few cents, but if these are multiplied by the amounts we need for more than a thousand animals, we just can’t afford it.
Therefore we would like to ask you to donate antibiotics.
They make the difference between life and death for many of our animals.
We are facing a difficult phase, during which we have to cope with the costs for the treatment of hundreds of galgos abandoned to their fates (who come in with fractures, malnutrition, physical abuse, and diseases). At the same time, we are fighting to support the hundreds of animal already living in our shelter and exposed to the low temperatures.
Would you like to help us?
